Parramatta Community Justice Clinic

The Parramatta Community Justice Clinic is a legal education program of the University of Western Sydney (UWS) in partnership with Macquarie Legal Centre.

UWS law students work side by side with a practicing solicitor from Macquarie Legal Centre who provides free legal advice to residents of Western Sydney. The law students assist the Solicitor with legal research and administrive suport

The PCJC provides:

  • legal advice appointments
  • telephone advice and
  • immigration advice on Thursdays

Our Services

We can advice you in the following areas :

  • Neighbourhood disputes

  • Traffic offences
  • Civil Law matters
  • Criminal Law matters in the local Court
  • Family law matters

  • Immigration Law matters – humanitarian visas, temporary work visas, reuniting your family.

 

We cannot offer you:

  • representation in court,
  • financial or taxation advice,
  • draft wills or complete immigration forms,
  • workers or general compensation advice and
  • employment law advice.
